We've been nominated before, been winning by a lot only to loose after they make the ballots secret but lets try this again:
2007 Dig This Awards can be found under that link. We're a few pages deep (make sure you vote for your favorite lesbian night, dive bar, high end sushi, sex shop, urban street wear and denim along the way) but please take a few min out of your work day (i know you don't want to actually work) and vote.
And now a picture of one of my bikes:
maybe I'll get a post about the cluster fuck that was my race later...

Canton Cup
I read this somewhere and its stuck with me, so this is what we're going to do:
"...Tomorrow's CX race will be about nothing but being confident and aggressive for one hour. "

Gin and Juice
The whip is all done for '07:
Ballin!
Industry Nine hooked a hommie up with some dubs so I picked pink hubs and spokes laced to Stan's rims. I'm pretty sure that my father-in-law thinks I'm gay but its all good in the hood.
It's pretty insane how many people love the wheels. I flew solo to the race this weekend (17/40 - pretty dope course some awesome "no brake-euro shoot" descents) but heard a large number of people cheering for the wheels. Now I just need to get more speed to match the bling bling dubs.
The ascetics blew me away when I first saw them, but its not whats on the outside that counts right?
Right!
The wheels are way stiffer than anything else I've ever ridden. With the 6 pawls they get on the gas waaaaay sooner.
I like.
I'm so excited about the bazillion races that I'm going to be doing in the next four + weeks. Maybe I'll even be able to keep updating.....

My hands hurt.
I don't know what I've done lately but my hands have been through the meet grinder and are residing nicely in the meet locker.
Well actually I do know what happened.
I stopped a disc brake rotor with my thumb today. That did a number on the nail.
On the pointer of my right hand I tore a pretty good chunk of my nail up when I slipped a shift during yesterdays race. That felt real good.
I bruised my thumb fixing someones flat.
I also chaffed close to the knuckle on the other pointer. I don't know how I was holding the shifter but its not too happy right now.
And thats the state of my hay makers.
